Modifications made to the car for the expedition

  1. An oil bath air filter
  2. Oil filter
  3. Extra leaf in the rear springs
  4. Flat storage boxes were added onto the running boards, containing amongst other things, spare springs. These boxes, as well as others for the trailer, were supplied by The Metal Box Company of London
  5. Swivel search light to the left-hand side windscreen pillar
  6. Roof rack, supplied by Victoria Motoracks Ltd
  7. Extra fuel tank
  8. Front bumper to protect the radiator
  9. Tow hitch
  10. Dust-sealed the bodywork
